Wagon Train

OK so I've been kind of hard on Wagon Train trails lately. My big thing about the trail was the horses and not really knowing how to get around the trails. Well yesterday I got into work early so I could get some good riding in after work. I decided to hit Wagon Train again. This time I had a much better time riding. The parts where the horses messed up were a little smother and after about one lap around I think I got the trail layout figured out. Well sort of.

I decided to ride the newer trails(well what I call newer) first and actually rode them for most of the time. The trails were dry and much smother then the last time I rode them. I rode from the east side of the lake all the way over to the west side. West side looks like it needs work and its a little rough. But most the the track was great. When it was about time to pack it in I decided to check out the North trail loop. This is the only loop I knew existed out there. I jumped on and away I went. The trail was well groomed already. Someone must of been mowing this last weekend. The trail was nice and smooth and fast. I only rode about a mile of it and after I was done I was wishing I made more time for that loop.

So now Wagon Train is a must to ride again. Its only about 15 minutes away from work and its a lot better then riding Wilderness. Of course we just got a bunch of rain and I'm sure the horses will be back.

As for this weekend it looks like its going to be wet. Anyone want to ride some gravel on Saturday? If the gravel is dry.

You'll have to show me around wagon train sometime. I've been trying to avoid it for some reason but now you've changed my mind

If the trails are dry then I was thinking BO or Platte but by the looks of it they might still be wet.

What time are you guys thinking of riding?

Harp, Now I don't want to make Wagon Train sound like Platte or Swanson but its better then Wilderness. Bring the bike to work sometime and we'll head out.
