Since Hayden has been in Omaha I've been able to ride a few trails. Swanson a couple times last week and Tranquility last night. Both great trails to ride. Tranquility has a few changes from last year with all the construction going on. It looks like the down hill section right before the finish line is gone. They also have two big dirt piles that are marked difficult and wasn't sure how that all worked in the loop. Anyway I got a few laps in with only one wipe out. It happened in the nursery section. I hit a turn to fast on the pine needles and down I went. I saw a couple other guys riding and talked to a guy named Dan who's racing in the sport 45 and over group. That's the second rider I talked to who's riding in that group. Makes me realize that I can race for a long time.
As for Hayden she is doing well. Still trying to figure out the breathing stuff but looks like her heart is doing great now. If you want to keep up on her status just go to her care page and check it out. Jackie does a great job keeping it updated daily.
