Town ride/Q125

Another early Saturday morning ride. The plan was to take gravel north to Malcolm and back but after about 10 miles my legs didn't want to any more hills, so I decided to head east into town. Checked out some of the new sites around town and try to figure out a route for the next date night.

After my ride we headed to a wedding in town and then off to Howells for the Q125 celebration. I planned on us going the entire weekend but with a wedding on Saturday we had to wait. On Friday they had a tug-a-war(spelling???) in Howells that I really wanted to see but didn't work out. Below I found an old picture of my dad doing this back in the 80's. I remember going to those a lot, it was the thing to do for any city celebration. Saturday was also my class 15 year reunion. It was good to catch up with everyone again and afterwards we all headed down to the street dance to watch the Rumbles play. Those guys are good. Great night in Howells,(even if I had to drink bud light all night) lot of people around town I haven't seen in a long time. Good times.
