Well tonight was the night I was heading out after work for a late ride on dirt. The idea was to go out to area 7 to get ready for the up coming race with Brandon and Rob. Well it sounded like area 7 got some rain again today and I didn't want to drive all that way to find out that its to wet to ride. Plus Brandon and Rob had some other things come up so I was riding solo tonight. So I headed out to Wagon Train and hope that it was dry. It was completely dry. Jim Craig and other adventure folks were at the trail riding and running the loop. I did the 10 mile loop but about half way in it started to sprinkle and thunder. Being a storm geek I was loving it. Now the lighting thing wasn't cool but rain and thunder and you still can ride the trails, it doesn't get any better then that. By the end of the loop I decided to ride the pavement for a couple of miles so I didn't get my bike all muddy. I was hoping for more dirt time but I can't complain for a Wednesday.
As for the rest of the week I hope to get some riding in on Friday and Saturday with Saturday being a nice long ride at area 7. I want to try another 3 hour so I need to practice riding that long. Also some new pics on felt bikes are showing up on the web. I can't wait to see the new MTB stuff. ALSO I was told about some new trails in the works around the Lincoln area but I won't get into that until I know for sure. We need more trails like the Omaha area has.
Update on the 2010 Felt MTB.

Sorry I missed out man. Hopefully we can get the wed. thing going but I'm not sure about this coming Wed. I've been off the bike all together the past few days anyways. It's been driving me nuts.
That would drive me nuts too. Specially with a race coming up.
I know mornings on Sundays are tough but I'm meeting Jeremy Cook at BO at 8:30 for a training ride.
Yeah I can't make that. Hopefully I can get out later that day.
