Flat #5

So I went to grab my bike out of my car this morning and what would you know another flat. That's flat #5 for the year. All on new tubes. So my count is 3 at Wilderness and 2 at Wagon Train. If anyone is keeping track. The rest of the day the kids and I worked around the house. I was able to get some work done on our riding lawn mower which by the looks of things might be using next week. I just need to change oil and sharpen the blades. Should be ready to go by tomorrow.

Once I was done with that I wanted to get my bike ready so when Jackie got home I can go for a quick ride. So I got it all cleaned up and lubed. I was working on it without my front tire. When I was lubing the chain I grabbed the wrong brake for my back tire. At the time I didn't think much about that until I tried to get my front tire on. Unfortunately the brake pads were stuck together and I couldn't get them to open up. So that means no ride for me tonight or in the morning. With Jackie's schedule in Omaha I don't have to many opportunities to get out. So the plan tomorrow is the drop off the mower blades to get sharpened and drop my bike off so I can ride it again. Looks like the only chance for riding tomorrow will be a late one. As for Sunday I have no idea.
