Well last night was the first night I got back to training for my race season. With Hayden in the hospital things have change a little bit. Instead of trying to find time to train now its about finding time to hang with the BIG kids and time for Jackie and I. I love cycling but family will always come first.
Hayden is doing well right now but she still has her days. The way its looking will be there for at least another month. I've started working again so I can save some days off for when Hayden comes home. It works OK right now, Jackie stays with Hayden for a couple of days then comes home for a day or so. When she comes back I usually go to Omaha to take over. The goal right now is to spend more time with the Payton and Trey. In the beginning it was tough but now I think we found a schedule that might work for all of us. Its tough but its something we have to do a little bit longer. Again keep those prayers coming for Hayden we really appreciate it.
Not much more going on in my world outside of Hayden but I'm looking at late night training again like I did when Jackie was on bed rest. When I'm home with just the kids then I have to wait till bed time before I can do anything. Usually when I lift I can do that with them up but when I ride then I have to wait till their sleeping. I'm also thinking about calling a few of my friends up in Omaha who have gym memberships and seeing if I can workout when I'm in Omaha. Again that will have to be later in the night after I'm done hanging with Hayden. I know I need the training for the race season but just getting out and doing something makes a difference too. I don't know, after working out last night I felt really awake. Something I haven't felt for sometime now.
