Bluestem

At the beginning of the week I was planning to check out branched oak area 1 and get some dirt riding in this weekend. But just like every past weekend it rains all week then its to muddy to ride on the weekend. Will this rain ever slow down.
Today I put some miles on the gravel roads again. I went out for 25 miles this morning. Not bad, I went out to Bluestem lake and back. Lots of hills and it was also a little windy.

The weather looks good up until Wednesday. Maybe Tuesday after work I can try BO out. That gives the trails about 4 days of drying. They also say its going to be windy today and tomorrow. That will help.

Last night Jackie and I had a date night. We went out to see the Saltdogs with our friends Tim and Jan. I'm not a baseball fan but I will go out and watch a game once or twice a year. Since it was Friday they fired off fireworks. Its a great fireworks show its about as good as what you will see on the 4th for Lincoln's main show.

Tomorrow I have a golf scramble with our church so that should be a good time. I think the last time I golfed was in 06. Oh well I think were playing best ball. Then later to the Zoo with the kids.
