Pioneers

Well I made it out to pioneers last night and put in about 3 laps around the park. The bike rode great, felt smooth over the bumps and the control going down hills and around turns felt great. I'm really happy with this bike so far. Now I just need to get out on some real trails with it and see how it rides. I should be out at Platte in a few weeks so that should be a good test for it.
On the way out of the park I ran into Harp and looks like he's all ready for the big race this weekend. He gave me some pointers on what the trail is like which helps to get some idea what to expect on Saturday. I just wished I would of had a chance to ride it at least once. Oh well.
Tonight I hope to hit pioneers for a light ride and then two days off before the race. I'm trying to eat and sleep well this week. Last night doesn't count, we had a movie night and we didn't get done watching it until 12. We saw the movie We own the night, I give it 3-1/2 stars.

Again, I really like the looks of that bike. Black and red were made for each other.

Care to share any of Harp's pointers for Saturday? I hope to get there early enough for a easy warm up lap but tips are always good.

Sorry I missed out on the riding with you two nights in a row. I took a quick spin last night and then started the break-down of the bike getting it ready for the first race. I'm willing to say at this point; I may make a better mechanic than rider.

Oh I can’t tell you what the great Harp told me because were in the same category.

Your doing the beginners open right?

Beginner's open is right. Ok, how about just one tip; what is the best way to drive up to Stanton?

Please I'm definetly not great. I'm just hoping not to get my butt handed to me to badly in the sport class.

I'd take highway 15 from Seward to either highway 91 or a little farther to highway 32. Both intersections are after Schuyler. When you get to those intersections just turn west and head to highway 57, then go north till you hit Stanton. The Lake is like 2 miles straight north of town.
Thats the way I'd go. My folks live north of Schuyler so they're on the way for me. I went to Howells High which is about 20 miles north of Schuyler. Probably more information than you wanted to know.
