Indoor training....

is not fun. Actually it was better than I thought but I'd rather be on my stumpy than on a stationary bike. I did burn 900 calories after 18 miles of up and down intervals. It looks like I might be training like that for a couple days. Its just easier to jump on the bike at work than going home and getting ready to ride at the park. If it doesn't rain I should have some good riding time at Platte. PLEASE don't rain, I need the training on some awesome dirt trails. If anyone is interested in riding on Saturday at Platte let me know, I'll see what the schedule is with the fam.
Now back to the stationary bike ride today. First off the TV doesn't work, NOT GOOD! Thats ok I have my mp3 player to keep me focused. With some new tunes on my mp3 my ride went better than I thought. I did find out today I need to delete a bunch of old tunes I don't care to listen to anymore. Here are two tunes I ended my ride with. One was good old Hank. Hank, Charlie Daniels, and Alabama takes me back when I was like 7 riding with the old man in the combine late into the night. Man I miss those days on the farm. I could always go with my dad to work if I wanted to, I wish my kids could do that. Oh well. The other song is a remake of a classic that Led Zeppelin did in the 70s. Check it out, its called Good Times Bad Times. Its one of those songs you want playing in your ears that last mile at SWANSON.(well I would) Yes I haven't done much training this month but I'm still excited for the race.

Not sure what time you are going to try and get out Saturday and ride, but I'll try to make it up if the trails are dry. Call me and let me know what you guys figure out.
