HOUSE WORK

Wow, lots to do and little time to do it in. We've been tearing out floors and painting walls trying to get the new house ready to move in. Oh and on top of it I'm trying to put some miles in before the races next month. It’s not going as good as I hope but we have to get the house ready. I just wish I had a trainer, and then I could ride at night watching NHL playoffs, maybe next year.
This weekend I got a little riding in and some weight lifting, now this week I hope to get at least two rides in and maybe a third this weekend. Will have to see how that goes.
The one thing I'm really looking forward to is our family trip to Platte River State Park. After working on the house non stop will have a break for the trip, which means no work on the house for a few days, just family time. I should be able to get some good miles in when we stay out at Platte to. I just hope it doesn't rain. I guess I could always ride the roads out at Platte if it rains.
Other than that not much else going on, trying to keep up with some of the late games of the NHL playoffs. Stars won game two and play the next three games in Dallas. Looking good right now for the BIG D. Lincoln advances to the next round, hopefully they play Omaha next. If so I might have to get tickets for a game. Couple of years ago we played them in the playoffs and I never heard a crowed that loud before. it helps that the building is small but still my ears were ringing for weeks after that game. I'm getting goose bumps just thinking about it.
This weekend I'm checking out the sold out practice for the Huskers. I'm going to be taking my daughter so will see how that goes. I might be going home at half. That’s ok its only PRACTICE!
Trey's new room, soon to have some HUSKER red added to it.

New living room.

I thought with the game this weekend I'd share a family picture from Trey's first birthday. It was on the Wake Forest game so we had a big red party for him. Like he really cared.
